If anyone is running AE RC10T, T2, T3 or GT and has upgraded the rear carriers with RPM Carrier blocks and CVD axle, and keep having problems throwing axles out of the stealth out drives. I have found that you can use the T4 CVD bones to correct the problem. The T4 bones are 1/4 inch longer so they will stay in the out drives when you go air born w/o having to turn your rear camber in so far to keep them in.

yes, it is a common problem....good post....I had the same problem and used your recomm. and it fixed my problem....

That's good to know! Usually 1/8 shock limiters inside the rear shocks will keep them from coming out too, but it's good to know you can just use the T4's.

You mean the T4 CVD set, correct? Not just the dogbone?

Yes the CVD set will work too if you have 3/16 axles. If you have the 1/4 inch axles you will have to get the CVD bones and rebuild them. T4 only comes in 3/16 as far as I know. You can still get the 1/4 axles and CVD rebuild kits separate and put them together. If you need the 1/4 shims to go with it you may have to buy a set of 1/4 CVD's and sell the bones but I have been using old glow plug gaskets for axle shims. They will wear before the axle will if a bearing sticks.

You're welcome Southern. I'm new at R/C'ing but always looking for ways to improve trouble areas and cheap fixes. It helps when some of the retailers list spec's on parts. Makes finding optional parts a lot easier.
