I have a old Futaba radio model is t2phka. The servo's are 1=futaba 1= i dont know the brand. It all rests in a kyosho inferno. I am wanting to change out the servo's for ones that have better torque, and maybe quicker reaction. If someone could help on recomendations, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again to everyone, you ROCK !!!

Sorry guys, I did not know that. It is a Kyosho Inferno 7.5. Has a O.S. vzb (non v-spec) mill on it. Good buggy so far, I just noticed that the steering servo seems a little weak, thats all. Thanks again for the suggestions!!

Hitec 5955TG for steering and 5996TG for throttle/brake. Hitec's warranty is hard to beat should you ever have to use it and with 333 in/oz slinging your wheels around you'll never have to worry about enough torque. I used JR9000T and JR8800T and JR8800S and they weren't as good and actually ended up having to send all of them in for warranty, got new one's back and sold them. I have never ever had any luck with Airtronics nor do I really know anyone that has.

remember to chk the wiring of the servos when you replace them I thinks its Futaba that has diff. polarity in their receiver?

I never had issues using futaba, JR, hitec, airtronics all on the same receiver. I've had to cut little plastic flashings off the plugs to get them to plug in, but other than that, no issues.

Hey guys, I did some looking, and I found these. Can anyone tell me anything about them? Are they good? worth the money ? etc. Thanks again for everything!!

Too weak. For a 1/8 scale buggy, you should have at least 130oz/inch for torque on steering. Preferably more. The ones you listed only have 76.37oz/inch of torque. Unless your truck requires two for steering, I'd definitely go for something stronger.

That should be plenty for what you want. If you get one of those and they hold up for a while, let us know! At $20, if it lasts longer than a few bash sessions, it wouldn't be bad to have one laying on the shelf for backup.
