I recently bought a charge jack adapter for my Futaba 3PM. I was hoping to be able to plug my peak charger into the jack to peak my NiMh transmitter batts.

It turns out that my charge jack is diode protected and my peak charger cannot get a voltage reading from the jack. My charger will not work, bummer.

I can solder a small Futaba Connector onto the battery pack and connect my peak charger there, but I already spent the money on the charge jack adapter and I wanted to use it because it would have been convenient. I wanted to avoid opening up the battery tray when I need to charge.

I've run in to that too I think. My on/off switch on my TMaxx has an extra lead for charging when the switch is off. But my Futaba charger won't recognize that lead at all, even if the battery is unplugged.

I am talking about the transmitter, not the receiver.

I bypassed the diode near the transmitter charge jack. It works fine now.
