Full trottle, NO speed!!!

The engine souns just great but the MP 7.5 goes really slow (10 mph!)
I have checked most of tha parts, but not the clutch. Can it be it..
I burned my last clutch on my Pure Ten, Peugeot.. But that was a crappy clutch!

Was it going fine then it stopped? Have you recently removed or moved the engine from its original mounting position? The pull start housing sits VERY close to the rear differential and it may be rubbing on the center drive shaft. I've accidentally done that and it ran like crap (as well as took a chunk out of the pull start housing).

The stock clutch is an aluminum 2 shoe and they seem to last a while. But I had gotten a few twigs stuck in the spokes of the tires without realizing it and that just ate up the insode of the clutch bell right quick. It would rev normal but just wouldnt go anywhere.

Check those to start and let us know if its still running slow.

The flywheel could be slipping if it is not your clutch. Check to see if the flywheel spins without moving your piston......

i'm thinking clutch, bad clutch spring, gear mesh and the flywheel thing christian mentioned. the best way to figure out a problem is to just take it apart. when you see the problem, it will be apparent to you.

DONT take it apart to test the flywheel or you wont know if thats what happening. You want it assembled. This way, when you are trying to turn it over, when you get resistance from the compression, the flywheel will keep turning but the piston will not.
