i use BT 20% for just bashing but I may switch to MHP if so many of you guys are using it and liking it. and I use Trinitey Platnium of racing

Just wondering is the trinity mhp colored? Cause it's kinda hard to see how much fuel is left when its clear. Or are there colorants you can buy?

If memory serves me I believe it is dark purple or dark blue.
my memory isnt all that good lol.

i dont use clear fuels for that reason.

Monster Horsepower is purple, so store it where the kiddies can't get it. Looks TOO MUCH like grape juice.

You'll like it all that much better. It doesn't smell as good as O'Donnells when it burns, but it still has that nitro smell, so it ain't all that bad.

Yeah its dark purple like Heartbreak said. I switched from Top fuel to Blue thunder to Trinity MHP and really like it. Its some good stuff. Easy to see in the tank too.

Cool...I'll try that next. My O'Donnals is clear and its a mother to see...but it burns white(Yes, I did lite a small amount on fire.)

Are we gonna have to start calling you AJ?????

Seriously, this stuff is highly explosive. Even in a small amount, it can do some harm. Not a good idea to ignite it in an open condition (outside of the combustion chamber of an engine, as it was designed to do).

lol@the new Aj..

I threw a bag of nitro (that I was cleaning my filter in) into a burning barrell and was suprised on how slow it actually burn. It didnt do the "woof" of normal gasline, I'm guessing from the oil in it.. But yeah, playing around burning it probably isnt the smartest thing to do.

that is the alcohol burning off. it will usualy burn clear I have noticed that highley pigmented fuels will burn slight colors but it is usually clear.

i know it is dangerus but I had a very good reason and I am very aware of the dangers of burning this substance. I DO NOT ENCOURAGE IT.

But does any one now of colors you can put into fuel to change its color. You could custom color fuels to match you paint job that would be cool.

Ahah! I discovered something on one of my favorite sites www.wediditforlove.com you can use methyl blue, methyl orange, and methyl purple for coloring. Also I'm pretty sure if you do get nitromethane to ignite*, it burns real slow. The complete opposite of the explosion of gasoline.

Also "Standard Nitromethane (CH3NO2) becomes Di-Nitromethane when exposed to UV (Ultra Violet rays as from the sun or "other means") and is more entertaining to run**."

And one more thing "-Nitromethane burns yellow. The spectacular white flame seen above the stacks** at night is raw burning hydrogen, dissociated from atmospheric water vapor by the searing exhaust gases."

*Disclaimer: I do not condone igniting nitro outside of a motor:nono:

After that science lesson...

The fuel burning was done in an aluminum pan outside, in the woods, in a clear open space. I actually thought it would burn faster but it burns extremely long and slow.

So I'll try to get my hobby store to stock Trinity Monster Fuel, right?

In the woods or in a clear space??

In a woods?? Is this BEFORE or AFTER you did you hooked on Phonics lesson. Thats one of the most retarded things I've ever heard.. Starting a fire in a woods sounds REAL smart.. Smart move einstein.

Its was like...YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! We were camping and I had brought my buggy out and got board. Actually it was in the fire put in an aluminum can we threw in to see if it'd melt but that was a diffrent story. Anyways...well...nevermind!
