SumoDethRat said:Ahah! I discovered something on one of my favorite sites www.wediditforlove.com you can use methyl blue, methyl orange, and methyl purple for coloring. Also I'm pretty sure if you do get nitromethane to ignite*, it burns real slow. The complete opposite of the explosion of gasoline.
Also "Standard Nitromethane (CH3NO2) becomes Di-Nitromethane when exposed to UV (Ultra Violet rays as from the sun or "other means") and is more entertaining to run**."
And one more thing "-Nitromethane burns yellow. The spectacular white flame seen above the stacks** at night is raw burning hydrogen, dissociated from atmospheric water vapor by the searing exhaust gases."
*Disclaimer: I do not condone igniting nitro outside of a motor:nono:

In the woods or in a clear space??SpitFireV12RR said:The fuel burning was done in an aluminum pan outside, in the woods, in a clear open space.?
