A quick one for you guys!

I'm running a schumacher riot and have sealed my engine and everything, I'm having a little trouble getting my idle right but that should be easy solved, main concern is she seems to cut out after drviing hard for a few mins, and if i accelerated fuel manages to escape out around the fuel tank lid, could this be causing me trouble?? not enough back pressure??

if so i think a new tank is in order......:\

Yup. Sounds like you have an air leak in your tank ;-) Either replace the tank...or the seal if you can get away with just that. It's gotta be air tight for that back pressure to feed the engine.

seems like you have answered my problem so motogod....it literally pisses fuel everywhere on acceleration and then it likes to cut out on idle after that.. pressure is escaping out the tank instead of up the fuel line.....

ah well. thanks again
Dave

Some tanks have a screw on the cap for spreading the o-ring. If there is a screw on yours, try tightening it a little at a time until the cap fits the tank tight.
