FTX Tracer 1:16

Hi All and apologies if this question is rubbish.

my 8 year old son just purchased his first RC car and decided on the FTX tracer, now my other son wants one so they can race together.

Will i need to do/buy anything for the controllers etc so they can race ? I remember as a child that they would interfere with other cars if together ..sorry I again if this is a terrible question

the site at least says they are 2.4ghz which only communicate with their paired devices, should not have any interference with each other.
