I'll have to check, SLowgreen. But I think you're on to something.
I just love how sexy this thing looks ripping up the street. Cutting the back out just helps with looks and a lot with heat. Air just flow straight through now.
I'm not focussing on temps this year unless their extreme. But I have noticed the temps drop quicker when at idle then before.
for the sides the sc8 does not have them on the sides of the rear of the truck thats what what I would like to know how he mouted them I can see the rool cage ones I have those

The window nets, I made them from cotton twine you get from most hardware stores then painted them black.
if you look just below the "area 51" sticker where the driver side tail light would be you'll see a body post poking through. Look on the passenger side of the bumper and you see a round tab that all SC8 trucks have.
I took an extra body post I had from another project then screwed and epoxied the post to the round tab then poked a whole through the body.

I have that round flat part on my sc8, I was just wondering how did you get the body post into it:thumbup1:, I was thinking of using the rear body post mounts off my RC10t's and cutting out a small section of that flat spot then the post would also sit flat on top of that round circle area, and then I can screw it in behind that

that's more or less what I did except I had extra mounts from my Baja 5b ss kit like 2 of the 3 shown here. cut the "button" off and you're left with just a post. embed a screw in that post, cut the head off so you can then screw the whole thing into the round tab and voix la, you have rear body mounts for your SC8.
