Front Drive Shaft

On the front drive shaft when viewed from the top does the drive shaft go above or below the steering linkages. I know that I will figure this out when I put it together either by it going together correctly or by having to dissassemble it and correct it but this will save me some time if I know beforehand.

If you are talking about the front center drive shaft it goes over the steering linkage

The drive shaft goes over the steering linkage as viewed from the top, correct, so that it is kind of sandwiched between the chassis plate and the steering linkage?
