Hello everybody I'm puting new gears in my front diff.
heres the problem , when i go attaching everything eles to the bulk heads like bottom skid plate little blue bulkhead tie bars front bumper mount....the diff gears start binding up? its like everything I attach to the bulk heads it tightens up to much to were the diff gears dont spin at all. what am I forgetting or not doing the rear was a pieace of cake no probs.

nope didnt work shims were not the answer anybody had this issue?

i have had my diff's tore apart, and didn't have any issues when i put them back together. i haven't shimmed them, however on the front bulkhead you have to slide the servo saver onto each side of the bulkhead. that may be what you're having trouble with. make sure everything lines up before you start putting the screws back in. also, make sure the diffs are the same sizes as the stockers. just put them side by side for comparison.

make sure the bearings on both sides of the diff(where the driveshaft yoke) comes out are fully seated. that's the only thing that i can think of. i've done mine twice now with no problems. and depending on the diff weight u used, they may just feel like they're binding cuz they're hard to turn. i just put 100 weight in mine and they were hard as hell to turn...i'm re-doing them again in a few days though. WWWAYYY to thick
