i must agree, that looks like a bada$$, i build a .21 powered,2speed nitromt once, was totally overpowered, totally undriveable and totally awesome!!
lol, you must post more pics and a vid!!!

Don't have a body yet will keep you posted. Traction should not be a problem since I have 1/8 scale tires on it.

I fired the beast up on the starter box blip the throttle a couple of times and spun the retaining nuts off the tires on the rear end!! Trip to Auto Zone for some red locktite because I had blue on there!! Still waiting on a coupler .

Hmmmm.....nice. I put a .25 on an 1/10 scale 4 wheel drive buggy.......it was sweet while the tranny lasted*. (2 laps around the yard at warp speed)

Frickenjoey I am concerned about that too!! Don't know if the drivetrain will hold up or not . If I don't get my package today I am going to have to call them I need this little part so I can start testing this beast.

I got to run the beast today a little bit. With the 1/8 scale tires on it I have good traction car is very stable. Just when she got warmed up the screw that holds the clutchbell on the SG shaft of the motor vibrated out.:( So I am down for the evening . I will replace the screw and try running some more on Sunday.

Replaced the screw for the clutchbell and added another shimm under the head on the motor took her back out for a run!! This baby is very responsive and super fast. I can't get over how well she tracks straight. I believe it is the 1/8 scale tires on it making it handle so well.

Well I have been to the Doctor got some meds to take care of my hayfever took the Nitrostein out for a flogging today. All I can say is YIKES!! :whhooo: I did somefine tuning, trued down my tires corrected a problem on my spool so the cvd moves without binding in it the car accelerates like a bat outa hell of the line and all I have to do for the turns is tap the brakes before I enter the turn to set the car up, turn the wheel and get back on the gas, you have to really push it to make it spin out!!:D This car handles better than my Fusions!!! The LRP .28 is a little soft on the bottom end but mid-top end is really a beast. Very pleased with the performace of this BIG BLOCK NITRO TC-3 so far.

I had a associated plastic pinion in the rear end turning a ofna ring gear. This setup lasted for a long time. This Sunday the associated pinion gear brought the farm the ofna ring gear ( made outta steel ) shows no sign of wear. SOOOOOOOOOOOOO after alot of cussing and fussing I forced fit a ofna steel pinion onto the associated shaft. The drfivetrain is ultra smooth now I belive that this may take care of the TC-3 diff breakage problem.
