Franken Mini!

Well I got board last night and today. I was sitting there looking at my slash that is still in 2 peaces and wondering what I could drive around my house and not make anyone upset on thanksgiving. I had my rc18mt, but all my batterys for it were old and dead, and no reciver in it. So I tracked down a spare reciver, and just for the hell of it, took my Reedy 2s 35c and set in in the center of the upper chassis and low and behold it fit. So, I zip tyed it on and headed out side. Holy cow! I have never driven my mini with a lipo in it, let alone a monster lipo and wow! It flys! If it had wings I'm shure it would acually fly! I think I'm getting about 55-60 out of it the way it is, I drove behind my cusin and she said she was doing 30, and I was at 1/3 throttle. Plain rips. It wants to wheelie but the weight of the big ass battery on over the COG keeps it down. Enough talk heres a couple pics. But needles to say if anyones ever board and feeling creative with there mini, try it its fun!

my father in law has a 18 and he put a mamba in it and a 3cell LiPo and it was so stupid fast it would torque flip at even 1/2 throttle..and that is with all metal parts and a wheelie bar...he almost caught my mini-revo before he flipped it 100 times
