i want to lighten up my t maxx and make it faster. I'm putting on a pull start and i wanna get rid on the forward gear and servo. i was lookin around and i dont see where i n get a forward only conversion kit for the old style tranny on a 2.5 maxx. can someone post a link for one? thanks

I ran that first one in my maxx before going with a big block.
After big block, I ran the second one along with the rest being RRP steel gears. Except for the two speed, which they now also have.

Yes they will both make you forward only. The biggest difference is the RRP uses the current shaft in your transmission and the Traxxas replaces the whole shaft, gear and all. If you are running a stock engine the plastic should be fine…..big blocks or an Ofna .26….you might want to look at upgrading. Oh yeah and RRP is real good stuff.
 
i am planning to upgrade my engine to a .21 picco come this summer. ill probly get the robinsons racing one. thanks guys! =]
