one of my freinds was breaking in a force .28 and two tanks in the main crank bearing blew apart metal shavings everywhere. So what would be the main cause of this i was thinking he leaned it too far, or over reved the motor ,or its a manufactured problem all he told me was that two tanks in the motor stop and did not want to move. thanks for the help you guys have been great.:)

If it's new, then Id say the bearing failure is a mfg problem. Leaning it too much would damage the piston sleeve before a bearing. Over-revving a good bearing really isn't going to be a problem.
If this is a rebuild /break-in then the over-rev is a more plausible problem. Do you really think he did one of those on a break-in?

it was a brand new buggy just bought an ofna ultra lx first two tanks of the break in, and i thought that with it being rich on the hsn and the lsn that the motor will have troubles on reaching its full rpm intill its leaned out to the maxx porformance but i could be wrong. i want to say its a mfg problem.
