Besides a couple rough landings I would consider that downright amazing for a first time heilo flyer...

Good job man, Helicopters can be hell fun AFTER you take the time to learn how to fly them.

Not bad.......
Two things that will help.

Don't let it wind up to take off. When you do its starts to tilt then you give it more and have to compensate. This is a lot of stick action for a noob like me and you. Goose it off the ground faster and it will be more stable on take off.

Second is try to hover a bit higher. One of the reasons your havening to work so hard keeping it stable is due to rotor wash. All the air is hitting the ground and coming back up unevenly causing it to be squierly. Flying higher off the ground is easier but at a cost. Landing is mandatory.

Your doing great for a first time flier. Hell your doing better then most after weeks of practice.

Great job bud........

I agree with Eddy about the rotor wash, wreaks havok on micro helis......

Also, I know its a handful for noobs but one thing that will help you to hover it better and be more stable is to really try to keep the tail rotor facing you at all times so all your controls will be the same as if you were sitting in it.....right=right; left=left, etc. (you'll have a faster reaction time on the sticks if you don't have to think for a second which way it needs to go) I know it helped me out alot when I first started flying them....
one last thing is practice, practice, practice.......once I got the tail rotor stable it was just a few days before I took mine out for the first actual flight.......scary as all get out but a total rush of adrenaline............
good luck with it!!

Exactly. Took me about 3 hours to figure that one out. Also, the tip about tail toward you is key. Same for hovering about 4-6 feet up.

hey guys thanks soo much for all your help and info!!! I'm gonna try and fly it higher to avoid rotor wash!?! i leanerned something new!!! thanks again!!!
ill post another vid when i get alittle bit better

Looks good man! They sure to come down in a hurry huh? Mind does that to. Slams right into the floor..lol.. But yeah, looks good bro!

pretty freakin' good flying if you ask me! i gave up on my blade cp. i took about 2 weeks to get where you're at. i'm gonna do some more sim flying and get another heli later. keep it up! you can give me pointers when i get back into it lol!

What kind of Heli do you have? Is is a Kit or an RTF? I'm looking for a birthday present for myself and I think a Heli will be an Awesome addition to my little RC family.

its a humming bird!!! I've been flying to 3 days and i get better every time i fly!!!

I'm gonna try to make another vid to show my improvements!!!

ill be posting soon!!!

Neat! Trainign wheels for helicopters! Knowing me I'd be standing where the camera is, loose control and get cracked in the leg with the blades.

And does that hurt. I tried to grab mine once, when it was in the air and coming toward me. Them blades are spinning fast, and hard!

:opps:

well i was just flying my chopper in my living room and it came at me and the camera man and i grabbed it throttled up and took it off outta my hand on the 3rd day of flying!!! ill def post that small clip asap!!! prob on sunday!! cause I'm at my shore house where my rents arnt so i can fly it in the house out of the wind!!!!

but yeh ill try to get that clip of that small move up asap!!!!

I'm getting good for 3 days of flying!! but i still have alot to learn!!
