My buddy and I finished break-in today and did some balls out running this afternoon.

After-Run process was cleaning the car with compressed air and removing large debris with fingers. After that, I sprayed the throttle opening and glow-plug opening with WD-40. Reconditioned the filter as well.

So that's it, did I miss anything? I mean, how clean does this thing need to me?

Thanks for any input. - jon

You should also look into after run oil instead of WD-40. I've had engines gum up on me using WD-40 instead of ARO and letting them sit for more than a couple of weeks.

I used Traxxas foam filter oil. We only used the WD-40 on the engine and carb (only then to clean it out. Ran the starter with the glow plugb off so as to blow out the thing.)
