Just finished my first paint job and thought I'd share it on the forum. I got this body about 8 years ago in a Ebay iot sale. It's one of those cheapo bodies and looks like it was trimmed with a machate so I just thru it on the shelf and didn't think to much about it til the other day I was thinking of somethig to do and decided I'd try my hand at painting, so here it is

BE GENTLE BOYS IT'S MY FIRST TIME:D

I don't know if I care for the colors but the look of it is awesome. Nice details. How'd you do it? Pant gun? It looks pretty professional.

That's not bad for your first time. It is a skill that only gets better the more you do it. I'm no pro at it but I can see the difference from my first body to my latest one. Keep honing you skills, friend.

Invest in an a good pair of curved lexan scissors and eventually a dremel with a sanding wheel will help ya clean up those rough edges in no time. If you're on a budget you could always just get some fine sandpaper and sand it by hand too. Keep up the good work :)

Thanx

Hey would have replied sooner but for some reason your replies went in my spam mail, oh well.
Any how I've started several other projects in painting and art related subjects and have recently purchased a air brush (I did my first body with a rattle can and tape) So look forward to some really awesome projects in the future.
I haven't picked up a drawing or painting instrument since I was a kid but since this first atempt I now remember how much fun it is so stay tuned for more!:D

sure as hell better than anything I could slap on a car. I'm limited to pin stripes and racing stripes. I can't figure out how to paint flames, great work!
