Finally getting a slash

My parents asked me what I wanted fo Christmas so I told them a Slash. We ust put the order in at Tower. I hear the truck is awsome stock, but my charger has the regular circle/square connectors on it. I don't know anything about traxxas connectors. Should I put Deans Ultras on the truck and charger or another kind?

I always run Deans on everything. Congrats on the slash! I know the feeling. I am waiting for my SC10 to come in the mail.

My friend saw my brushless RC18T and wanted something, too. I told him to get a slash because I was getting one. He bought it at Pep Boys for $231. I saved a whole 20 bucks on tower.

Nahh parents capped it at $200, and I just bought an xbox so I couldn't pick one of those up. Would have been nice though.

Opened 'er up this morning. Put some hopups on that I ad ordered. While I was at my uncle's my cousing had one of those plastic bike ramps i was jumping it off. Broke the rear shock tower 1st day out. It was totally worth it.

My uncle was enjoying taking pictures. The final blow was close enough that he was reaching out to catch it then changed his mind. he later said he should have caught it. I don't think it was a hard hit, just more awkward.

I think the shock cap would have gone 1st, but my friend broke his in a roll so I beefed mine up.

interesting. i took mine to the BMX park today for the first time, thrashed it, got a few airs a good 8 feet high, landing on flat ground no problem

(other than the lower part of the rear bumper keeps popping off and getting crooked - any advice???)

Got some use out of 'er today. New rpm rear shock tower. also bought a venom 8.4v 4200mah battery. HUUGE difference.

I guess only the regular red, black, white slash comes with a batt... because when i bought my Fabtech slash I needed to pay and extra $40 for a traxxas series 3 batt.. thats dumb..
