It will be offered in a SG version, std. crank version, and a "savage version"?

ABOUT FREAKIN TIME!!!!
I'm getting one of these muthas for my truggy......
any release dates yet?
for the states

bottom corner of the pic gives the yet ammount and I just crunched some numbers and got that.

so Y25,515 = $235???
I can only assume the US price will be higher...when has OS ever released something here that was performance and under 250.....now they have a new case casting and crank milling machinery to pay for...this puppy's gonna hit us for at least 275.......probably over 300 to start.....CURSE YOU AQUASCUM....sorry flashback from former life

Which issue of RCCA? and in what country is "yet" used?

Links? Pics?

OK, I lived in Japan for almost 4 years! The yen rate is presently 110 yen to the $1 dollar. I took the highest price on that add which was 26,250 yen. By my calculations, that comes up to $238.63 But, you have to look at the import fees, etc. I would imagine it will be right around $300 by the time it make it to the states! Just my .02

that's what VB came up with too...I was just surprised it would be so low.....I mean look at what you pay for the OS .18 for a revo or maxx.....they're like 225.....I guess this engine won't be a big performer and they are doing budget models first.....

I wanna see what OS claims on the RPMs, HP, and TQ... IT had better be big numbers to compete with the collaris and sirios and such...

Well keep in mind that the OS specs have always been more realistic compared to other brands, however, they are just as competetive, so just because it might have lesser specs than say a collari 30, really doen't mean it's less powerful.

OS definately underrates their specs....every time one gets Dynoed by a magazine it comes out way over what they (O.S.) claims....

It should be awesome though!!! If they claim 3hp, its gonna have close to 4!!! or not.. but hell, i can dream can't i? :smoke:

Ok, the savage version has a roto-start, and the X version is the p/s of course, and here's some pics

and I think the roto-start version is basically an engine w/o a pull-starter, and the s-25 backplate fits. I got that info from a guy claiming to be the OS product manager on another forum
