Fastest speed ever recorded on a Slash?

Just wondering, what the fastest recorded speed for the Slash (or YOUR Slash) is, under these two criterias :

1. Those 'successful' speed runs where the Slash comes out unscathed (the highest speed the Slash can handle before it turns into a four-wheeled glider)

2. Those insane speed runs where in the end, the catastrophic consequences mean it's much cheaper to buy a new Slash than to repair those broken ribs..I mean parts

Please also mention the setups, if you have any info.. If you have a FAST Slash, then this IS your bragging moments!

LOL this should be a fun thread. So far mine is 41mph with a 3s and 19/86 gears with the velineon power system. It was a crude guesstimate at the time my girlfriend was pacing the Slash in a park parking lot and she said she hit 41mph before she had to brake and I was keeping up with her

I will try to make some vids of high speed passes and get a radar system for it. Maybe I should switch out the EZrun motor from my Stampede and shove it in the Slash.

:thumbup1: I assume your gf was pacing on something with a speedometer, a car or a motorbike. She was brave I tell you..I mean I wouldn't dream of driving any motor vehicle at 41mph in a car park Must had been a car with really good brakes..a Corvette ZR1 perhaps? If you have any vids, please do post it here!

LOL, she paced in her neon! There is a big park with huge lots and turnarounds you can whip through in. I will have to attach the onboard cam next time for further proof and mess with different gears

47 MPH then it became a glider.

47 mph in this video w/ GPS then I upped the gearing to a 23 tooth and got 56 in a more open area. I think the extra weight of the camera GPS kept it from going yard sale too much.
