It would be on its way to the dump or at the bottom of the lake

Its hard to show the lines of the boat that are starting to appear.
The shaping of the top rails is relay bringing them out.

At this point, this has been the most challenging part of the building process.

The first photo is what I have to work with and the second is a finished side.

The true test here is getting both sides to mach

Actually, you were playing with sissy electrics, Now you are a full blown Fiend. Too freekin funny. Don't forget to wrap the servos in ballons. What size motor? Plus. you already have the retreival/ rescue boat.

O-NO there is a Badger in the house, get the skunk traps 8-0.

Badger talked me into getting my first T-Maxx and its been all down hill from there.

For my maiden cruse we can use your boat to get it when it sinks.

Boat is on hold until the rain and dampness goes away.
Everything I have heard tells me to not to plank the boat during the moist weather.

O-well.....

Wow, this thread was a pleasure to read. That is a really nice boat Eddy. A ton of work has been dumped in it. Your wife must be pretty pissed about the whole thing. You start this huge ald boat project and let it sit all winter. Then you start this cybermaxx project... If your wife is anything like mine... I can just imagine...

My wife and I work together 6-7 days a week.
She actually encourages me to work on my projects and gives me her full support. It gives us our alone time that we need and probably is one of our secrets for a lasting relationship. Working on 10 years now.:ahh:

Sounds like my wife Ed, we have been together 12 years now. She says to me "Don't you have something to do to one of your R/Cs", lol. She totally supports my hobbies and I hers. You definately need your alone time for a happy lasting marriage.

Btw the boat looks like it is coming together very nicely. I am looking forward to seeing the finished product.

I need to get my wife to see it that way. Neither of you guys have young kids? Little kids take up sooo much time. Furthermore, they often take the attention of both of you. I control one while she helps the other. At night, when they finally go to bed, we get about a 1/2 hour just the two of us. Maybe if we worked together 6 days a week that would be different.

back to the boat...

Eddy - I am amazed that you can juggle all these projects, and yet still keep every one of them looking so impressive. You are able to strive for perfection on each enduring task, no matter how long it takes. That takes incredible dedication, and I commend you.

Now - ltes see some more pics!

I sure try but most of the time things don't go as planned.
In the next few weeks I will pull the boat out of dry-dock and finnish it up. I'm about half way done. I will need to put a few hundred more hours into it.

very impressive ed...i don't think i have that kind of patience
