how can i fast charge a single c cell for a glow start, surely i havent got i wait 14 hours a time?!!!

thanks

It all depends on the charger you have. Some chargers are "Overnight" units and some are "Rapid" chargers.

If you are going to stay in this hobby you will want to invest in some good field equipment. Do a search on this site for Charger or chargers and you will find a wealth of information.

If your in a hurry, go get a regular battery.

I use a simple hitec 335 field charger, for my Rx and Tx batteries.
One bonus of this unit is it has a spot to fast charge the glow driver,

The only down side is it only runs on 12 volt power source,
I just us the starter box battery

Great little unit

I use something similar and they are great. Everything charges at one time.

Do a search.... Lots of info.

I have an MRC 959 that works great for single cell batteries. You have to request the single cell charger adapter from them, but they will send it for free. Its just a pair of aligator clips with a regular Tamiya adapter, but has a resistor or something in line. It works great and plugs into the wall.
