did you have any mods done to the tranny???

peloquin ATB diff and bolt kit. a racing gearset is next, I'm about halfway there ($2300+)

Wow CorradoPsi thats crazy! Will those hold out for you with the power your putting to the tranny?

Makes me love my tranny. It's rated up to 693 ftlbs of torque. Subaru just knew what we were gonna do to this car.

My astro van can do the 1/8th mile in under 42 seconds!

they damn well better. they are made by a local shop called Long Machine, otherwise known to the rest of the country as G-Force transmissions ;) the gears are made from the same stuff as the nascar boys get, and redesigned to handle the additional loads of drag racing. the shop i deal with has a drag car in the works with est.700-800whp, the gears are designed for that car, and sold retail to offset the cost of development. when they debut thier drag car, which is FWD btw, they are shooting for 9s off the bat, and 8s by the end of the season.

Thats cool they should hold out to that! Have you ever tried that process where the freeze the parts and it changes the structure of the metal and make it stronger? I dont know how it works for sure , but my father in law has built some insane Honda motors that with turbos and other stuff where putting out around 800 Hp!! Anyway they kept snapping the Cv axles and they did this process to them and never had a problem again. Just a thought that might help out with all the power your pumping through that thing :). Do you know how many poinies your putting to the ground with your car, with the NoS?

you talking about cryogenically treating them. that will all be done when the tranny is ready to be built. once everything is apart, it will all get shipped off at once since its a process that charges by a flat rate, plus so much after a certain weight.

i havent been able to spray yet since i can't even harness all that i have with just the turbo. the motor is making roughly 240-260whp right now at 17psi with very conservative timing maps. i should be able to dyno tune for 20psi in a month or 2 when i have the extra cash. that should get me up to 280-300whp. i run a 70 shot of nitrous so thats 70hp and roughly 140ft-lbs in my past experience with nitrous and forced induction. all said and done on nitrous I'm looking for 350-370whp and 400ft-lbs of torque. give me up to another year to hit that goal. i can already tell next year is going to be tight with the vacations already planned. i want 12's on true street tires :)
