If I had about $600, and was switching from 1/8 to 1/10 elec. Which one should i get? Which one is stronger, parts available, upgradable, etc. Please give me your thoughts. I'm really considering switching but its going to be VERY HARD for me....

Noone knows anything about either?!?! thats crazy... Well, i think i have my mind set on the Factory Team B4... Does anyone know if it comes prebuilt? or do u get to build it? i don't know...

Ill probably get:

GT7 esc
2 motors, 1 stock, and 1 fantom mod motor
a high torque, speed Balsa servo (BMS-620) balsa products website
2 GP3300 race packs (don't know which brand yet, any recommendations?)
a Novak Ionic charger (my friend has 1 and loves it, charges pretty fast also)
Maybe some extra wheels and tires for bashing (i think the 1's it comes with r pretty good for racing)
I already have my MX-3 with 2 rx's (i just bought another for my gt)

The rest will probably go towards my rc10gt. I'm considering selling my GT for around $240 since i bought it for $110, I would only be making $ either way, then get a factory team gt on ebay,(probably slightly used or new, i have all electronics) then save up for the Fantom FR12 rear exhaust when it comes out. That would be sick.

that is a hard choice, they are both very good RC's, i am a bit biasd towards Losi I just like losi's better then Associated

Well, i'd get another losi (i had a xxx-nt) but all it did was break, break, break.... I couldn't run it twice without having to fix or buy something else... it sucked. So I'm afraid to get another losi because of the part breakage ease... Associated on the other hand used slightly stronger plastic than losi (I've heard). I don't know about the carbon in this case where everything is carbon... I'm not sure if its stronger than the graphite that losi uses. but still i always hear associated is on the stronger side. Losi's are on the racing side but with 2wd buggys they are almost the same. I couldn't say that about stadium trucks tho.

Yeah. losi is more of a race truck if you are going to be racing go with it, losi trucks are a better deal then most IMO because of the radio gear,
if you geat a associated they are stronger but if you race you will need better radio gear.

But you will be very happy with eathier one.

yeah, i think I've decided that I'm sticking with nitro. But I'm stuck on what to get once i sell my buggy. I want something durable, and if i decide to race with it, it is possible. I was thinking about the MT2 18ss, but the guy at the lhs said i shouldn't get one.
