Hey guys,

It's Friday, I am at work, and feeling very unmotivated. Sitting here reading XRC and looking at the readers ride section, and it got me thinking... any of you guys ever had your ride published in an RC mag? If so what mag, and what issue? Sorry about the rediculousness of this thread but I thought it would be fun. You can beat me up latter if you want! LOL

Ed that is cool as poop. I have a picture of my Maxx that I am thinking about putting in for submission. I have been working on Upgrading my Maxx slowly and expensively. The next upgrades are MIP CVDS all around, and RRP Diff, and tranny gears, but the reason I took the pic is because I have spent some time painting a decaling up a Chevy Silverado Lid to look just like Earnhardts Sr, Goodwrench Chevy... I painted all of the lines by hand, no pinstriping, the only thing not paint was the decals..... It's not much but I am proud of it. Maybe they will like it, and post it.

I've had 2 different 1:1's published in Magazines (Sport truck, and S3). But Rc's, no.. Not yet..hehe I've had work published though. Jan, 05 theres was a car (Matt Culvers Rx8) In Rcx, that I did vinyl on that won the readers ride contest thing. So that was pretty cool.

One of my bodies was the Pic of the Week in the HPI Gallery. It was my General Lee '69 Charger....

Hey Tom,
Send the pics!!! Never know until ya try.
I had my D-7 in Model Airplane News. Sept. 2003. I miss that aircraft. :( About 2 weeks after I crashed it, I found out it was in the mag.

best i've ever done is having the install pictures of a venom speed meter on my old ntc3. I got a t-shirt for that. As a matter off fact, i'm wearing the t-shirt right now :)

My dad did get pictures of his scratch build SPAD (airplane) in an issue of R/C Report. Sadly the writer got our names mixed up and I become the builder and father, and my dad was "my" son....lol

My ass has been on HPI's website for 2 years now. (blue Yankee shirt)

Just a hint if you sending your pic.
Mention the magazine your sending it to in the short story or description you send. Count the words they use and don't write to much or to little.

Send a high quality digital photo. They will size it. If its to small or not in high resolution it wont look good in their mag and wont publish it.

That was a friend that was helping me out.
His ass looks the same if he's standing or bending over.
He's a freak of nature.
