It's after christmas and I'm going to buy a need engine,i decided to get a p/s engine, but on the mst box,it says non pullstart chassis, does this mean I'm screwed into buying a non p/s engine, cost of a starterbox would ruin my chance's of ever running this model, and i don't know if i can clear the side header from the brake assembly, anybody else have this model, any ideas,I've got $70 to get a engine and misc running gear.

Save up for a decent engine. I'm pretty sure you MIGHT be able to get a roto start which is much cheaper then a starterbox. But $70 will get you a crappy engine, and you wont like driving it as much. Unless you get used, but you never know with that. just save up for a nicer engine and a roto-start (do research if it fits or not) till about $150, and you'll be able to run well, maybe even race with me :D

just go with a new os .12 c-v off www.acehardwarehobbies.com and get a used starter box off ebay for around 30-40.... the motor is i think 75$ so thats about 125 you need to get going ;)

there is a few links for ya .. hope it helps... just take one step at a time.. no need to rush... and go with good stuff at first instead of replaceing stuff soon ;)

Well i spent most of my cash, went to wal mart and decided i need a pellet gun for the neighborhood pest,so $40 later I've got $20 left, ill save up for a good engine, but for now,mst-1 is still a shelf queen
