engine suggestions

i have a t-maxx with a 2.5r in it and i want to upgrade. any engine suggestions? I'm going to use ebay or traxxas's power up thing.
i also want something that can pull good wheelies.:w00t::jittery:

go brushless man. Momba monster motors will fit it. comes with a full conversion kit

Picco .26 is a great upgrade for the revo as well as the t-maxx. The only thing you need to put that engine on a t-maxx is well obvioulsly the engine, and the engine mount. You can not use the original engine mount because the mounting holes are in the wrong location.

Does the 2.5R have the revo-spec driveline? I think it does. Picco 26 is your best bet.

If you fit the picco .26 JL Red Dot, fit the TRX Resonater pipe !

my t-maxx just went psyco on me when i pushed the throttle forwards for brake it activated the throttle, and so did pulling the throttle. :whhooo:
what sould be the prob?:\

Not sure what to tell ya on the throttle thing, but the 26 is about 200 bucks.

Check for loose connections in the wiring and low batteries.

and the antenna seems a bit short, i was going to upgrade to the newest transmitter from traxxas soon anyway so I'm just going to get a new reciever and a new transmitter to be safe.
when my truck went psyco on me it slammed into a curb braking the muffler/header connection and smashed the fuel tank, fuel going everywhere!
and i just got it too. man was i PISSED!
so I'm just going to get the transmitter and reciever to be safe

A 5 cell rx hump pack, failsafe and throttle return spring are all must haves to keep runaways from happening.
