what is the least powerfuls engine to the most powerful engine i really dont know anything about engines

I think u need to be more specific...Boats, cars, airplanes? I suppose cars I think .10 is smallest and .26 largest. I'm not sure though.maybe .29....

Didn't someone come out with a .30 or .32?

I think there's a truck with a .70 heli engine in it as well.

Pound for pound, the 1/5 MT's that run a zenoa (I think they are 26cc's) are probably the most powerful.

thers actually a .46 and a .72 out there. to much power i think.

no one can give an awnser to that without being a few pages long ...power doesn't just go by size a lot of racing .21's can beat most .26 engines ...and there also wheather you want an engine that has a lot of low end and others that excell at the upper rpm's

there are many varibles that make your question near impossible to awnser .....

i think the .46 and .72 engines are in large scale monster trucks and provide lots of torque.

& would get smoked in a drag race against a wasp .28 on a savage ...so back to
there can be no list because there are to many varibles

He's right. I think a lot of the larger engines were made to get a lot of power cheaply. You can get a 21 that cranks out a ton of power, but it's going to cost you. Or, you can get a 28 that isn't as refined for racing and be content.

exactly ..and vs versa if you take a racing .21 out of its comfort zone ...and bash it in a back yard all day along with a sport .28 ..id lay odds that the .28 would come out better off

Most powerful engine depends on a lot of things...

If its for a 1/10 ST, a race .12 would be best, same for touring cars.

If its for a 1/8 Buggy, a race .21 would be best.

If its for a 1/8 MT a .28/.30/.32 would be best.

Keep in mind those would be best for racing in MOST cases, not all. There are way to many things to take into account when picking a engine.

I think someone is coming out with a .32 that has the same size case as a .21...

you have to take into consideration how much HP & torque, How many RPMS, and how well it is tuned.......mostly HP/RPMs
then you need to consider where you want that peak HP/Torque to kick in....if it kicks in lower then you have all that grunting down low power this is affected by engine internal design and fuel delivery / timing.....if you could tune a .12 to be at 100% efficiency you could pull 5HP out of it but a lot less torque than a .21 or higher engine would......like was said earlier...there ar eto omany variables to consider...I assume you are asking this to help you decide on an engine for you???...maybe giving us an idea of what you want to do would be an easier question to answer.....or if you really want ot understand all the variables check this book out

was larger off road truck like monster is .15 larger or smaller than 2.5

i am pretty sure that the 2.5 engine is a .25 engine... I think thats what it is.

Yea, CEN has that truck with the .46 in it.

yes, its in RC DRIVER.

are you asking about tthe traxxas 2.5?
if so it is not a .25 engine.......I think it's more like a .18
the 2.5 is in cc the .18 is CI.....

Plaid, the 2.5 is actually .15 CI

yep the traxxas 2.5 is the same size as the .15 ....just has more agresive timing or something to put out more hp
