Hello Fellow rc fans........

I was driving my car this morning and its got a .18 wasp engine it was going fast for like 20 minutes or so.Then all of a sudden i stopped it put more fuel in it tried to take of and i moved very very slowly at full throttle what is wrong? I am kinda new but i know a little bit so dont get mad if this is a stupid question.
Do you think i burnt the clutch out? or somthing? or did the slipper nut on the spur gear come loose? Or is it somthing different? The engine only has about 6 tanks through it.If i did break it in wrong do you think orion will take the engine back and replace it with a new 1? Oh yeah when i take off it doesn't even make an attempt to rev up at all it doesn't bog down though.

Thanks Nick....

Well it could be your radio. Sometimes if I stand so something metal is between me and the truck the throttle doesn't listen to me. It is possible u wore out the clutch but un-likely. The most common thing I can think of is the lsn got a bit rich somehow. Try tuning the lsn and see wat u come up with. Also Check if the servo is moving when u tell it to. BTW my name is Nick too:hi: Good Luck!

well he didnt really give the detail on the problem, is the engine reving up and the truck not moving, or boggin and the truck no moving, both could be clutch or slipper problems, if u have a break-in stand, prop the motor and test it on the stand. that will either tell you its the motor or something on the car.
