hi i just put a t15 in myrs4 3 and broke it in,after like 4 tanks i tried to open it up and it keeps cutting out at wide open ,I've leaned it and richened it like a whole turn in total in each direction and it shows signs of being rich/lean but it keeps cutting out at full throtle,my question is why I've changed the plug twice and bothe plugs light up good, it doesn't rev up and die or gurgle and die it just goes fine at 3/4 throtle but as soon as you realy floor it it just cuts. please help me thanks allot chris

I am leaning on that you are lean on the LSN side.More fuel you put in the carb it dies. SOunds like the engine isn't getting enough air in the mix. I would richen the LSN

if i richen the LSN it wont idle ,it just keeps blowing out as soon as you take the glow warmer off.

ok then that means that your hsn is too rich. Try leaning the HSN a 1/4 of a turn

BTW what plug and fuel are you using?

the fuel is team sidewinder 20% and the plugs are dratrax silver, one more thing if i run the car off the ground it will runn great shifting to second and revving good its just when i apply the final bit of throtle it dies.

Is this a Slide carb? If so you may need to just adjust your End Point Adjustments.

hmm sux. The only thing I would check is for air leaks that may cause your engine to cut out due to being lean. Is the carb properly secured? Have you tried to restore to factory default settings and re tune from there?

What I need to know, without having it here in front of me, is what are your temps. It needs to idle till the temp doesn't rise any more, but holds steady after idling for several minutes. Then, when driving it for several minutes, what's the temp now?
If you don't have a temp gauge, get one. It's one of the most important investments you can make to maintain a long life on the engine.
If you don't have one right now, start the car, let it idle about 5 minutes, then pinch the fuel line and count the seconds till it shuts off. You want between 3 and 4 seconds.
Let me know what you get before you make any adjustments.

ok so if i do that wich i did and it still cuts out wich way should i go rich or lean, thinking that it iddles and revs almost all the way?

The LSN should have no effect at WOT. Take the air filter off and look down the carb at WOT (with the engine stopped). You should see the LSN needle is completely out of the main jet somewhere between 1/2 and 3/4 throttle.

When you did that, did you have a temperature gauge?
When you did that, how many seconds did it take to shut off?

I need that info before I can tell you what to do next.
