Hy,

I just bought my first nitro build kit. A Kyosho tr 15.
I have spend some time assambling the model, now everithing looks ok exept one thing.

I am not shure how to align the engine gear to the middle diff gear.
They make some noise and do not take in to eachother smoothly.

Kan anyone give me some tips for aligning these 2?
Do these gears need oil?

Thx in advance!

no they do not need oiled ,and search the newbie forum for your answers ,there is plenty in there to read about setting gear mesh ,easiest way is make sure the motor is sitting squarely inline with the spur gear and i used to use a piece of notebook paper and feed it into between these 2 gears and then just snug down the motor mount and remove the paper and see dbl check the mesh if set properly there will be very little noise and spin freely

I did the trick with the paper!

Where can i find this newbie forum?
Damn, i must be a noob! i can't even find the noobs forum :opps:

just scroll up to the top where it says search and type in what your looking for. i am also having the same problem and it cost me a spur gear. be careful i learned the hard way.
