Was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of setting up a losi l8ght model to electric. I know there is a conversion kit. But what I want to know is what would you recommend for electronics and motor. This will be my first 1/8 scale.

I recommend the Castle Creations Mamba Monster Max. It's a beast and used on a lot of factory brushless setups including the Traxxas Revo and a re-badged version on the HPI Savage Flux. I've had quite a few Castle products and really like them.

Id recommend the Tekin RX8 and 1900kv on 4S if you are gonna run it on a track. If just bashing and you want flat out speed then Id go RX8 and 2650 on 4S.

If your just going to bash the MMM 2200kv or the 2650kv would be nice as well. If your gonna race you'll want something sensored though.

I'm.picking up a tekin rx8 and a t8. Getting a deal on it. Its going to be raced. So far I'm only into it 450. That's with the purchase of the kit and electric conversion.
