Ebay cheap nitro trucks

I was looking on ebay for nitro rc trucks and some of the truck i found on there where so cheap compaired to the savage x 4.6 i bought i mean i think there was on for 200$ shipped but it was from china lol. I wonder if you bought one of thoughs where would u get parts from ? maybe thats why there so cheap because u can't find parts. Sound convincing though haha

I heard alot that cheap ebay trucks may be cool, but you can't find parts for it. I would just buy a good one like traxxas or hpi, so you know for sure your LHS has parts for it.

yeah thats why i ended up just buy my truck from my LHS because i knew they had all the spare parts plus hpi has tons of parts on ebay but for awhile i was very tempted to buy one of the cheapys off ebay haha

I did, two years ago, before i knew anything about this hobby, and it didnt work out of the box, so i sent it back and the seller sent me a new one, and i sold it on ebay right away. so two years later i bought a traxxas.

really damn I'm glad i bought a decent brand now. So what the engine didnt start or was the electronics messed up ?

something in the transmission i think. Something was broke in there.

Like in life in general.. You get what you pay for.. Save you money and get something that you can actually get parts for and that has quality built into it.
