Eaby Fraud ... e-mail

Here is a e-mail eBay supposibly sent me.

DON'T DO IT !!! You will give them your info. Call Ebay directly and ask them if you think there is a problem with your account. NEVER reply to an email asking for your info.

I get 20 or so of those a week. The best ones say "please update you info before Oct. 21st 2003 or your account will be suspended"

Yeah, thats a scam.

All the sites, such as ebay, amazon, paypal, all tell you to enter their site name directly and NEVER use a link you get.

If you ever put your cursor on the URL, you can see that its not the site you think you are going to....

I've almost done it though. Back about 6 or so years ago...

NEVER! EVER! NEVER! NO MATTER WHAT! Follow a link in an email, or respond to an email, not click on an image in an email that is any which shape or form, requesting password, account# or any or personal information you wouldnt want the wrong person to have.
