e-revo mumba gearing

i just purchased a e revo mumba edition and would like to know if the extra gear that it comes with makes it faster and if so is it a good one or do you recomend a different one. I'm new to electric motors my other trucks are nitro so any tips would be helpful

Bigger pinion=more speed/less torque. Smaller pinion=less speed/more torque. Pay attention to the temp of the esc/motor/batteries after you make a gear change.

ok i got you on that, now what is the extra gear it comes with bigger or smaller

good point ill look in the manual

The manual will show you how to pop the gear cover off. It's only one screw. Then you'll be able to physically see what's going on.
