is this engine any good? havent read much about it but my buddy wants to eventually do an engine swap in his Slayer when the 3.3 tuckers out. he was thinking about the HPI 4.6 big block but is weary because the tranny. would this be any better since it is a direct drop in? just looking for feed back. also if he does go with the 4.6 he wants to know if anyone makes metal transmission gears or cases? thanks guys

Do not get the .19T. My buddy tried one before he put a Losi 3.4 on his T-Maxx and it was a friggin' turd in retrospect. If you're looking for a super easy drop-in replacement fork out the money for the Picco .26 that's built to TRX specs. More power than you can shake a stick at, and being that it's a good Italian mill it will 10x outlast the .19T or the Savvy motor. :)

That's a good idea if you have the monoy for it but him and I are on a tight budget so $110 is still a decent chunk of change. Just lookin for feedback. I have read a little bit into them and they sound alright. Anyone know about the gears???
