DX2S transmitter , and receiver. Only 10mins of use

Hi,
I have a DX2S transmiter, and receiver instaled in my revo 3.3. I have the heat telemetry hooked up and thats all. I am also useing the traxxas 6v battery on the receiver. I charge the battery fully, and I'm only getting about 10 mins of use total. Do you think there might be a short in the receiver? Or should i be useing a differn't battery? Before nthe fuel tank even emptys the battery is dead. Anyone have this problem?? Thanks

how old is your revo rx battery? traxxas nimh batteries don't have the best life span.

the thing is i have 2 of them,and it happens with both of them. one is kinda new, the other is about a year old. What battery is best for my car?

i would remove the telemetry equipment and try a brand new battery first. if that doesn't work then you could have an issue with your electronics. is this a new problem when you put your spektrum rx in the car? best battery for the stock electronics would be a maxamps 5 cell rx pack for the revo.

well if it just starting happening after you put a spektrum rx into the car that is probably the problem. find a friend with another spektrum rx and give that a try
