I recently discovered that the reason my Nitro Evader ST wasn't working was because my differential gear melted! So I went to the hobby shop to buy a new one. As I got home to reasemble the mess I made of my car, I realized that the gear I just bought was a different size! I checked to make sure it was the same part listed on the parts list that came with my car, and sure enough it was the same part. Can anyone explain why the same part is smaller than another??

Probably packaged wrong. I'd go back to the hobby shop with the old diff and see if they can help ya out.

It could also be mis-labeled on the parts diagram. As Matt said, take the old part to the hobby shop and they'll be able to help.
