Thus was like 2008 when hobbypartz had dirt cheap electronics that were in fact castle comparable. I preferred my tacons and xeruns and hope to locate a minty xerun 150a teal original model sometime.
And the first brushless quake. I had a build thread for both trucks on rcu but unfortunately lost all the pics when URC went down for good. There are old YouTube videos awful quality.

I bought a Tacon motor once. I was not impressed. It overheated pretty easily in my 2WD Rustler. I put a Castle 1410 3800kV motor in after that and had noticeably cooler temps.

The orange 4068 2150kv on 4s was awesome. Also that smaller green one in the max is a 3660 3000kv overkill it lasted a few tabletops and12ft drop to finish that pan off. The quake was fn amazing until the sounds of tire thuds and a pissed off vacuum got to me. Anyone want YouTube video just search brushless quake and ". "v2
