I drove my MTX-3 yesterday for the first time. It was awsome. Halls @$$ to me. It is my first on-road. It is the kit that comes with the Novarossi based Mugen .12 I can't quit thinking about it. It was so much more intense than even a 1/8 buggy that you have to not only keep it on the track, you have to get it lined up for the jumps. I think it might end up being my favorat "summer" hobby, sence I live in Ohio. :smoke:

The mtx-3 is a good car.Good to hear you like it.Onroad racing is great.A good setup is key.

Yeah, I still have alot to learn, but that is part of what I like about this hobby.

I love my MTX-3. But if ur going to race it, make sure you set up the car for the track your running at. And stock up on extra parts.

Racing isn't untill next year. Well, at least not competitively. What parts would you suggest to have on hand? I plan on A-arms, pivot balls, and an extra body. Plus the normal supplies like body clips, screws, and servo horns. Any other suggestions?

I'm itching to go run it at the local track. Maybe Saturday, but it will probably rain untill Sunday, and that is when they race. I have to get a little practice in before I try that out. Damn Ivan! I was on vacation, and have been running from it all week. Cut my vaca short, and now it is raining here in Ohio. Oh well. At least it is supossed to be nice on Sunday, and I'll be able to run then.

Have extra belts and dogbones if u haven't upgraded to cvd's. Make sure u put blue loctite on the set screws that are in the belt pullies.
