Drops of petrol on my car, should I be worried?

When I'm filling up my car I sometimes get 1 or 2 drops of petrol on the hoses, or exhaust... everyone is telling me the petrol is highly corrosive, is wiping it off with a rag enough? Do I need something else to always wipe down the car? Most of the time when I get to the drip it's already dried not sure what that means i.e. is that part of the car going to be acidic-ally burned forever?

What kind of car? Is it petrol/gasoline or Nitro fuel?
Either one will evaporate very quickly and will not do any damage. Nitro fuel will leave some oil. No problems either way.

Thanks for letting me know, here I am freaking out I've also been emptying the fuel tank completely with a syringe as everyone says NEVER leave any petrol in the car EVER!

Also the manual says to clear out the hoses of any fuel, is the best way to do that to put the car on the starter box and use the glow ignitor? How long would I hold the ignitor down for to make sure all excess fuel is out of any of the pipes?

it is best to not leave any fuel in the rig, because as it evaporates, it will leave the oil behind and gum up stuff. you can just run it at idle until it runs out, then do your after run oil. you dont have to clean it out every time.

If you're going to run it within the week, don't worry about fuel in the tank. If you'll be putting it up for a while just run it till it runs out of fuel.
Add a few drops of after run oil through the glow plug opening and spin the engine.

Guys when you say give the engine a spin, how do I do this? Is it manually done or do I just put the oil in and then put the car on the starter box and push down without the glow ignitor?
