Does driving in the snow hurt your car? Does it affect the eledtrics at all? It has been snowy for the past week and I really want to drive my car but I am affraid it will get damaged. Any comments will help.

well first off you will want to water proof your servos.. go here https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/reviews/waterproofing/index.htm and that requires plasti-dip,which can be found at your local hardware store, and just put a ballon over your reciever....

and when ur done be sure to clean it up good ..and get alll the water off i use WD-40 before and after i am done caue it dont let water settle and prevents rust on the bones and othe metal parts...

hope this helps:banana:

if i forgot anything i am sure another member will jump in here..
but also try useing the search function this topic has been disscussed many times...

sry for the typos

HEy i just seen that this was in electric talk..(i used most recent post thing)..i would not reccomond u drive your electric car in the snow/or rain.....

I've ran my electric Stadium truck & buggy in the snow and it's been fine. But they come with covers for the motor and electronics.

The electrnics on my truck are all pretty well splash protected, and snow has never been an issue.

Just make sure that the snow can't get onto to anything in such a way that when it melts it'll short something. My reciever just sits (very far) under a lexan shelf. So long as I don't try to use the truck for a deep submergence vehicle, it should be fine.
