I'm pretty sure every person in r/c AND drag racing has said the exact same thing!
You MUST be doing it right!
You have a video set up so ppl can heckle your work real-time!
I'm guessing if you're botching anything too bad, some large number of our group will be quick to stomp on you, also in real-time!
Seriously, "learning while doing" works better for me. It looks like you're doing the same. So yeah, you're doing just fine!

Haven't touched it, been too cold in the garage for my liking (below 70 ) will get her back up and going this spring

I just ordered batteries for our drag slash and we got 6" of snow on the ground. Come on warmer weather! I'm dying to see this bug kicking up rubber. Great job on it man!
