the speed channel is awesome sometimes... like the show fifth gear! that is SWEET. I want that guys job so bad. all he does is talk abou these sweet ass cars and test drives them.... like one show he tested a F40 and a F550i. It was so sick... then another time i saw he tested a Porshe 911 GT2. so sweet.
You fools need to get TIVO now........I never get to see the OC as it is on but TIVO is your best friend or in the case of Corrado a sheep is his best friend..... :jk:
yup, me and :sheep: hang out and watch movies on comcast's "on-demand".
I've been meaning to pick up a TiVo for about 3 years now, and somehow it always ends up on the back burner. stuff like RC's, trips to the beach, toys for my son, and parts for the real car to go faster always come first.
TiVo is well worth the $13 a month. You'll never have to flip channels cause there is nothing on. You come home from work and it's ready to play.
Honestly donno what OC is. The commercial skip button has caveats: you haven't a clue what new shows are out there.
24 rocks. It's one of those shows that doesn't linger long on the TiVo we watch it the day after or maybe the day of (20 min lagged so all the commercials can be skipped). 24, Lost, Survivor and the Amazing Race are all in this boat.
well my buddy just sent me the $550 he's owed me for a year now, if i dont buy standalone for my corrado, i might just pick up a TiVo. i think i would spring for the lifetime contract instead of $13/month though. a buddy of mine did that 4-5 years ago and hasnt looked back since, i know he loves it.
Yeah the lifetime thing works out cheaper. It's the lifetime of the machine, but still. One of my hard drives developed the "click of death" early this winter. I still had my backup 14 gig drive so tossed in a replacement drive, set everything all up again and it still rockin at 5 years old. If you get a TiVo, I can upgrade them, fix them and answer any general questions you have. PM me or catch me on the track. I'm always glad to help.
What's that "OC" show about? I may have to check it out if it's as good as 24.
bigfreak
oc is kinda like beverly hills 90210 ...nite time soap opera
but unlike bh90210 it has a lot more of the parents and older folks normalily involved
sad to say it but I'm hooked on it
and rustlerdood i totaly argree the spiderman kiss was one of the cheeseist and most ovious thing i have seen for a while you could see it coming almost from the credits
Ditto here. Plus all the Law and Order's. And Huell Howser, seeing as how I travel a lot.
Seing how I LIVE in the O.C., I can certainly say that it is nothing like what they show on the TV show, although the digs about Chino might be pretty accurate. :whhooo:
