Just got my nitro savage 4.6 and my remote controller looses signal and the truck just takes off
And its not even at long distances..

Help help

Check batteries in the transmitter AND the truck. NEVER start a nitro engine until you run a checklist. That includes range testing the signal.
Don't cheap out on discount batteries. Use only Duracell or good rechargeables.
Purchase a failsafe and program it to brake when the signal is lost.

Also, remember to always turn on the transmitter first and receiver second. When you're through running, turn off the receiver first then the transmitter.
As far as the failsafe goes, if it's a newer Savage with a 2.4 GHz radio, the failsafe is built in.

Ok kool
I will try this tomorrow morning when i am running it again...
Other than that it seems like its running good now just went thru the break in process and still tunning it as I'm using it ...i dont think think its where is needs to be but then again...I'm learning

Make sure batteries are charged and you're following the above procedures.

Just remember to clean everything well and run with graphite instead of oil, as sand is very abrasive and can wear down gears incredibly quickly.

That is very true
I'm trying to c if i get the bottom middle skid plate i saw a metal one online
At least to give it some protection
