derailing threads

Well, I've made a conscious effort to avoid derailing a thread since this has been such a recently rampant issue, that I'm sad to say I've had a part in.

Derailing or not, I see a lot of new members showing up since Christmas has past. Get ready with your answer machine guns! Set them to FULL AUTO!!!! THE STORM IS COMING!
 
I've noticed the increase also. I think it's a fine line between being 'too much' and yet providing a good chuckle at the same time.
Honestly if every thread stayed on topic, it would be kinda boring, but I do understand what Beason is saying about how it could possibly be frustrating for a newbie.

I'm not sure, but I think we should be derailing the threads in alphabetical order. Other than that, I have absolutely no idea what that post means.
