i've been looking at the MT2 all this time, but taht Traxxas Jato has me wondering about it now as well.

sacrafice speed for 4WD? i don't intend on racing so it's strictly for bashing. i like the idea of have 4WD. but also like the idea of going 55mph.

I'd sooner take 4WD than 55mph. Just my opinion

Look at it like this. There are relatively easy ways to get more speed out of the MT2. However, making a Jato 4WD isn't quite so simple.

Technically a Stadium truck is two wheel drive. 1/10 scale 2wd. I would leave the Jato alone. Good truck if you want to go fast up and down the asphalt.
If you wanted Traxxas I'd go the Nitro Rustler first.
The MT2 would be the pick of the two you mentioned, no question.
