For those of you wondering. I went to Lowes and back by lumber there is this thing called the plastic center. They have all these sheets of plastic.. I picked the smallest sheet they had for 2.50. They also have a cutting tool there that i picked up 2.00 (works great). First i took the top off the box and traced it's outline onto the plastic. Then i cut that out using the tool. Make lots of light passes then snap it. After that i mounted it, installed a switch, and antenna and bam i was done. I had a special antenna to begin with. I got it at tower and it works great. I recomend replacing the stock tube with the dubro tube. Links below

Let me know what you think!

Looks good, I never thought the receiver pack could fit on it's side like that. It looks alot easier to take off and on than the stock piece.

Its soooo much eaiser to take on and off compared to the stock piece.

that is nice have you thought of maybe painting it? maybe to match the color of your body? you can spray the under side of it it will come out the same tint of the body

it is nice and convenient but does it seal all the way down? My issue is getting too much dust and dirt in the actual RX box. The concept is cool though bro. I just may use that with some additions.

Balloon it up! I have mine ballooned anyway regardless how "tight" the stock one is sealed.

I going to glue a gasket around the box. So the lid pushes against it and seals better than stock.

we just got it, and everythins great...except one of the bearings is missing from the front turn buckle
do you still have it and just forgot to put it in or dont have it either way its cool i was just wondering
