i tried printing a gamble to hold it steadier but it was waaaaaay too squeeky, I'm usually driving one handed holding camera in the other, when i strap it to the transmitter i drift and record lots of sky shots lol, been trying to talk the wife into going and being my camerawoman.

most of mine came from fb mktplace, i buy someone elses headache then make it my own lol, i got lucky and got 4 trucks for 500 from someone who was quitting the hobby, the pay wall is BRUTAL
This thread gave some motivation to start getting some stuff listed for sale. We will see if I come up with some funds for a larger scale crawler/trail truck. I got a few different options in mind depending on how much funding becomes available. With the terrain around here something that is split probably in capability would be best. Heavy on the crawler side, not so slow, or with so much dedicated geometry/flex that it is better to just carry it to the next crawling spot.

i got the ascent18 out today just cause f our convo here bro, on my way out the door i thought... @Ritz413 would maybe dig seeing one of the little guys in action. she KILLED the lines, even with sub par tires and stock motor, it ATE and i was So impressed, i have been keeping one of the minis in the jeep for work so i can pop it out every now n again lol. much more difficult to do with the larger scales

I got good trails around me for a 1/10. Got to find the right deal and it could happen.
Be patient, good sales come around a couple times a year. Best way to find a good sale is to buy something, guaranteed eay for a sale to pop up right after. 🤣

Now you need an SCX6! 😜
I'd love to have an SCX6, But I think I'd rather gert the Vertex. I had forgotten all about it til I stumbled on this

On the larger rigs I'm somewhere in between crawler and scale build. The bigger format allows for some nice detail work....and the redcat gen 8 v2 international harvester comes in green
